Wood Fired Pizza
When I don’t feel like cooking the first thing I think of is running out to grab something quick to eat. Well, tonight was one of those nights. I jumped on my bike, fired it up and headed out to find something good to eat.
Wesley Chapel has a wide variety of places to eat! Wanting something fast, and not wanting to venture very far, I decided to swing through the Wiregrass Shopping mall right off of Bruce B. Downs. Crusin through the mall I spotted a little place I hadn’t seen before, 900 Degrees Woodfired Pizza! And, so I thought, that’s the spot.
2 Slices & A Beer
Well, there you have it, this evening’s dinners, 2 slices of meat lovers pizza and a 20 oz draft of Peroni pale lager beer.
My first impression was that the service was friendly and courteous. My order was promptly taken, and a sample of the beer was offered.
I thought the pizza was good, but a bit oily. There was plenty of toppings, and the thin crust was crispy and chewy. The fact that it was late in the evening probably played a role in it’s quality. I could almost guarantee that if I had a fresh slice it would have tasted much better.
As for the Peroni Italian beer, I thought it had a crisp full flavor, strong barley accents and a refreshing finish. If I had the time I would have ordered another.
Overall, I gave the meal a grade of B – . But, that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t go back!
